The 2026 International Workshop on Scientific Computing and Its Applications (SCA 2026) will be held in Jeju, Korea, in conjunction with the 2026 International Conference on Platform Technology and Service (PlatCon-26), scheduled for 24–26 August 2026.
Scientific computing increasingly combines high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, large-scale data processing, and advanced modeling and simulation. These technologies support research across physics, chemistry, biology, climate science, astronomy, engineering, and related fields.
SCA 2026 provides an international forum for presenting research on scientific computing methods, systems, software, and applications. Topics include parallel and distributed computing, numerical simulation, AI for science, scientific data management, visualization, scalable workflows, storage and I/O, cloud-based scientific computing, and interdisciplinary applications.
Submissions will be evaluated based on originality, technical quality, significance, clarity, and relevance to the workshop. SCA 2026 continues the SCA workshop series held in conjunction with PlatCon since 2017.
The SCA 2026 is the next event, in a series of highly successful International Conference on Platform Technology and Service, previously held as SCA 2025 (Jeju, Korea, Aug. 2025), SCA 2024 (Jeju, Korea, Aug. 2024), SCA 2023 (Busan, Korea, Aug. 2023), SCA 2022 (Jeju, Korea, Aug. 2022), SCA 2021 (Jeju, Korea, Jan. 2021), SCA 2019 (Jeju, Korea, Jan. 2019), SCA 2018 (Jeju, Korea, Jan. 2018) and SCA 2017 (Busan, Korea, Feb. 2017).
